Hey everyone! Team Kangwon from KOPLE recently visited the DMZ in Cheorwon 💚
Not only is it a place of deep historical significance, but the surrounding nature was also exceptionally lush and beautiful—everyone was completely captivated by the scenery 🤍
So without further ado, let us share our action-packed Cheorwon itinerary with you all 😍

Our very first stop was the DMZ Tour! We visited the 2nd Tunnel and the Peace Observatory 😙

The 2nd Tunnel is a place where you can directly explore the inside of an actual military tunnel carved through solid rock and really feel the tension of the Cold War era.

Kople~~ ✌🏻🧡
Hard hats are a must!!! ⭐️
All our Konnectors and KOPLE friends put on their hard hats and safely headed inside for the tunnel tour~
It was our first time walking inside an actual military tunnel, so it was super surreal—and surprisingly narrow and chilly!
Since photography inside was strictly prohibited, I can’t show you any photos, but walking through the dark, quiet tunnel definitely made me feel the lingering tension of the Cold War right on my skin.. 🥺

💖💖
For our friends who walked so hard through the tunnel, the Kangwon Team prepared a cute little photo zone.. 🫰🏻

Look at everyone walking so diligently.. 🥹
Honestly, for this trip, we gathered super early in the morning and had to walk up a lot of uphill slopes, so everyone basically had an empty-stomach workout.. (?)

😎✌🏻
But no one complained at all, and everyone enjoyed it with such great energy that it gave me a boost too.. 🥰

(They’re literally just walking, but they looked so nice that I had to include this photo. Just my personal bias 😅)
As we kept walking, we suddenly arrived at the Peace Observatory!!!

?: Hey guys, gather up ~~

Located at the northernmost tip of Cheorwon, the Peace Observatory is a spot where you can get a panoramic view of the DMZ interior and North Korean territory!

Photography is restricted here as well, so unfortunately I can't show you the view.. 🥹
You guys are curious too, right?!! 😭
If you're curious…
How about coming back with our Gangwon Team next time..?! 😙
Now that we’ve done plenty of sightseeing, it’s time to refuel! 😅🤤

Our lunch menu was Tofu & Mushroom Hot Pot! ⭐️
Maybe because we’ve been moving around since early morning, but everyone ate so amazingly well haha
(It would’ve been great to have food photos… but us Konnectors were so hungry that we completely forgot to snap any.. 😅)

Look at those brightened faces 😁
Alright! Now that our bellies are full, time to move again~~
To our final destination, the DMZ Eco-Peace Park!
The DMZ Eco-Peace Park offers a walking tour through untouched nature and ecosystems preserved for over 60 years due to restricted civilian access ☺️

At the Eco-Peace Park, Jay stepped up to translate alongside the local guide.. ☺️
KOPLE friends listening attentively to the explanation 🥰🥰

It’s a bit of history that might feel a little unfamiliar to our international friends, but seeing everyone so focused on listening was just… 👍🏻🧡

There were a few spots along the way where photography was allowed, so I captured some of the gorgeous views! ✨🤩

KOPLE friends soaking in the scenery so they don't miss a thing 🧡
