Hanyang University's travel club KOPLE and environmental volunteering club HANGAJI are teaming up for a special spring event!

Let’s protect the environment and make new international friends on this meaningful spring day 🌿

We invite you to a fun and impactful plogging event! 💚

✅ Event Details

📍 Date: Friday, April 4th, 5PM

📍 Location: Seoul Forest

👥 Participants: 14 people (7 from Hangaji, 7 from KOPLE – first come, first served!)

📅 Schedule

5:00 PM Meet-up at Hanyang Univ. Station (한양대역)
5:30 ~ 6:00 PM Plogging at Seoul Forest
6:30 PM ~ Dinner at Wangsimni (Dinner cost will be split and settled later.)

📌 Application Period

From now until all spots are filled!

💡Note:
After the plogging activity, we'll enjoy a relaxing dinner together in the Wangsipni!
Please bring around 20,000 KRW in cash in case you'd like to grab some food or snacks with the group.

Introducing Our Friends club 한가지 (HanGaJi)

HANGAJI is a student-led organization under Hanyang University's Global Social Innovation Center, “Hope Hanyang,” dedicated to promoting resource circulation and the spirit of sharing through environmental volunteerism and creative projects.

One of HANGAJI’s flagship initiatives is the “Hangaji Box” Project, which collects reusable items discarded in dormitories and gives them a second life through donations. So far, over 3,400 pieces of clothing have been carefully sorted by our team and donated to Beautiful Store, a Korean non-profit. Proceeds from the sale—around 3 million KRW—have been donated to support local communities.

What’s more, the reuse of these items has helped reduce approximately 7,614 kg of carbon emissions, which is equivalent to planting about 1,155 pine trees—a meaningful impact for a greener future.
