Sansawon showcases Korea’s long history of fermented beverages and traditional brewing methods. The museum combines historical exhibits with sensory experiences: you’ll learn about ingredients and processes, see artifacts, and — most importantly — take part in a guided tasting session where local brews are sampled and explained by experts. This is a unique chance to taste Korean tradition directly from the source.

🍲 Lunch: Sundubu Bori-bap (순두부 보리밥)

Our lunch spot offers a wholesome countryside-style Korean meal featuring soft tofu stew (sundubu) and barley rice with assorted side dishes. This simple yet hearty combination reflects Korea’s rustic dining culture — warm, nutritious, and made with local ingredients. It’s the perfect midday recharge before our cultural adventures continue.

🎨 Pocheon Art Valley (포천아트밸리)

Once a quiet granite quarry, Pocheon Art Valley has been transformed into one of Korea’s most beautiful art and nature complexes.

The highlight of the valley is Cheonjuho Lake (천주호), a deep emerald lake formed naturally after the quarry’s closure. Surrounded by dramatic cliffs and calm waters, it’s a breathtaking spot that perfectly captures the harmony of nature’s recovery. Visitors often pause here for reflection, photos, or simply to enjoy the stillness.

To reach the lake and art spaces, you’ll take the monorail, which glides gently up the mountain. The short ride offers a panoramic view of the valley below, from stone walls to open skies, turning the journey itself into part of the experience.
