0905 Cheonan Trip

Hello!
The next day of welcome party,
The first trip of the semester was held.
We headed to Cheonan after the after party..
Can we make friends?!

| Making walnut pastry

After 2 hours, we arrived at the Cheonan walnut pastry experience factory!
I personally was really excited about this activity.
In Korea, we used to have so many walnut pastry places called 'coco hodo' but I don't know where it all went these days.

Anyways, let's go make walnut pastrys!

Since we're dealing with food, we wore the hairnet, and shoenet.
We all became cutesy like smurfs. Lol

First, put the walnuts and put the paste. And then place the red bean paste and flip the machine!

The person who's making walnut pastry is the head of Kople, Eunjin!
The person in yellow tshirt is our team leader Yangwoo!!

When I was young, my dream was to run the Bungeo-ppang (fish shaped pastry) with my brother.
Watching the truck guy making pastry was somehow soothing for me. And I loved a little soggy soft bread too.
Making pastry reminded me of my childhood dream !

Let's move to the next place with heavy walnut pastry paper bag and chubby cheeks!

The American guy who sat next to me had plenty of plate and he said he brought little bit of everything. It was indeed everything. Haha that's the spirit!
It is unspoken rule in Korea to have plum juice after the meal.

| K-culture exhibition

There were a lot of booths in the exhibition!

We headed to ddak-ji booth because we saw it on the squid game but..
We couldn't aim it so the staff was surprised at how bad we were lol
Well, I'm Korean but I don't think I would be good at it either.
Guys, you need to sit down and aim!

I was surprised at the Koplers because they were all into this!
We had to press the button right exactly at 10.29 seconds.
Danish guy was planning: "you press at 10.20 because there's a reflex speed. I'll do 10.23"
I was like damn you guys are so in!

We took a team mission to take a creative group photo too!

Everyone was looking forward to this activity! One guy even said he registered this trip just for this. Wow you guys aren't scared of heights..

It was speedy and not high at all! It was rocky horizontally. It was a fun ride with thrill. The height wasn't high so everyone could handle it.

When I hopped off, the staff had relief of sigh saying it's nice to speak Korean lol

| Came back to Seoul!

I didn't know but friends let us know that there's firework in Yeoido. Eunjin took everyone to her secret firework viewpoint around Hanyang uni!

Meanwhile.. hungry fellas went to k-bbq place.

Cheonan was the very first trip of this semester!
It was first trip to meet everyone so I was little nervous and awkward. But everyone was sweet and open minded.
The start was too smooth so I'm really excited about this semester.
